Beautiful early chapbook from Minneapolis-based Coffee House Press, bound in handsown Canterbury wrappers in a lovely toast brown shade. Includes woodcuts by John T. Gordon. Signed by both author and illustrator, this is copy 135 of 375 so signed. Very good or better condition, the lower edge of the wrappers is hand torn, and in one spot on the back, there is a small bend. $15.00

This issue includes work by Allen Kornblum (editorial mastermind of Coffee House Press), Poetry Comics inventor Dave Morice, New York poet Alan Ziegler, Ted Berrigan interviewing Rod Padgett, Alice Notley, and much more. This large, 8.5 x 11 inches, issue was typed and then "printed" at the Body Politic, a noted Chicago art center at the time. It is firmly stapled, but really reflects its bare-bones origin and its age. $35.00
